More silly drawings

I hope I can make you LOL

Soft drink cans/Omo

When I finished school in 1998, the world was different. Advertising was a dirty word. I was debating whether to go to college and study advertising, but to my angsty, anti mainstream/corporate manifesto, that would be selling out/working for the enemy etc, so I didn't. (I studied Media Communications and sound production)
Well, things have changed. Advertising is now art. I am able to look at it and appreciate it and understand the psychology behind it. I sometimes think it's purely art, not a consumerism ploy, and wonder 'how can people be affected by it's (subliminal) powers? How can someone see an ad for a coke and then be prompted to buy a coke"? But I guess, that's what it does.
Here are some soft drink cans (Australian 'soda's) which I jammed. Oh, and a bottle of Omo too
;)

My Drawings

So, I make music and draw. My drawings are mainly short little daily documentations,  or funny little word play vignettes. Well, I think they're funny. You can call them dad jokes.
I'm very impatient, so I don't spend much time on my drawings.
I'm going to hog this blog with my drawings now.
Here are some posters of some classic films, which I made. As you can see, I changed the titles to suit a common theme I am fond of: pain and suffering. I also happen to love cinema very much.

Crass/Avengers

Perfect punk rock.

Chris Marker

R.I.P Chris Marker.
'La Jette' would be in my top 10 films of all time, without a doubt.
Thank you for your work.

Nervous Gender- Cardinal newman

Ebay says: "Nervous Gender- Music from Hell

This record was, and is a massive influence on me. Phranc was my hero growing up. Much love and respect.

KaS Product

French (kiss) coldwave. (=) French Koldwave? Just got their first album 'Try Out' ('82) for $100 on ebay. I said I wasn't going to buy records before I went to America, but fuck that. I'm buying this+ 'By Pass'.
I said I'm not gonna buy records at all when I'm in America, but fuck that too. I'm going to limit what I can buy. Just rare, dark, European music from the early 80's.

Oh boy, I forgot that this is totally maybe the best music ever and everyone else should just retire.

A Split Second- Flesh/Rigor Mortis

Another fine Belgium band. A Split Second.

Guyer's Connection

Great song with a great title, by a great band, reissued by a great label (Medical Records). Swiss synth scape from the early 80's. Pogo of Techno. Should have thought of that myself. So good. Discoqueen II from their newly reissued s/t record. Mandatory.

Maggi Payne- Flights of Fancy

A very beautiful piece from composer Maggi Payne's computerized music experiments from 1984-87. Trance music. An enTrance into another dimension. See the figure in this figure and go figure

JK FLESH (/GODFLESH)

FLESH!
Say it 10 times. It begins to lose it's meaning and sound weird!
I like Godflesh. I'm not really into Jesu. Justin Broadrick is the common thread between the two, and has a new project called JK Flesh. The record Posthuman just came out and it's huge. Big, crushing, massive drums. Plummeting. Godflesh fans rejoice!

And while we're at it. Streetcleaner.

AMBER LONDON

I was confused when I found out about Amber London. Her EP is called 'The 1994 EP', and it sounds like it's straight out of '94. The video's look like they're from '94. I don't mind. I like '94. It was arguably one of the best years in music history.
This is from 2012. This is some past tense perfection.
Anyways, I don't use the word 'dope' often, but that's what Amber's flow is. Her style, the speed, the chill, it's all dope.
This is G-Funk. Girl Funk, baby
