One of my favourite releases this year has been Vatican Shadow's Kneel Before religious Icons.
Vatican Shadow is Prurient's Dominick Fernow.
Interestingly, Prurient's'Bermuda Drains was one of my favourite records of last year.
The man creates a mood. It's motif music. He really puts you in there. It's filmic.
The Vatican Shadow stuff is like war on repeat, because the truth is, war is always on repeat.
This is political music.
