Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All are a 10-deep hip-hop collective. All of them are under 18. They are artists/producers/rappers/video makers etc.
Their stuff is dark, they spit psychosis. Deranged flows. Mean mouths.
They do everything themselves in a bleak, cold way.
I hope they support each other emotionally cz these kids have weird things going on in their minds.
Meet Earl. This rhyme is siiiiiick, in a bevy of ways, all mashed into a blender and spat out to twist your brain.
They embody the internet generation in so many ways.
I'll post more about the others in a tick.

Some of my favourite production out there at the moment.
The E.P is great, full of current nostalgia. Perfectly paced B.P.M's and sounds to match.
Peep the video below....DARK, but balances the light cloudy chords. And I love the demon voice vs the classic house phrase sing song.
I think this could be yin-yang music.

ALL ABOARD THE K.L.F TRIP

Ok, I banned myself from buying music on ebay a few years ago. Those rare MALARIA! 12's and albums were setting me back some gelt. Not to mention the super pricey, rare French Legions Black Metal was painting corpse paint all over my wallet.
Today, however, I splurged out on some rare K.L.F records and 12". This stuff is hard to get now. I just had to. It's justified (and ancient!!)
These guys are total trippers, their philosophy is awesome (I will write a rant on it some time soon) and their music is pure energy.
Wherever Trancentral is, I wanna go there, NOW
Oh and if anyone knows where to get a copy of their Ambient record, please let me know. It's bliss and it saved my life once (another rant, for another time)

I really like the Rusko album that came out earlier this year.

VINTAGE ALBUM OF THE WEEK= REDD KROSS 'BORN INNOCENT'

Been lamenting on this big time. Such a great album. Brash and bratty.
From 1982, this is the band's best bashing for sure. Full of pop culture obsessions, and covers Charles Manson's "Cease to Exist".

Such great stuff coming out of the U.K at the moment. This track is an indication of that.
Catchy with big bass. Winning combination!

POLVO- THERMAL TREASURE

Sorry, don't know how to post songs without going to youtube.

But this album really smashed my being. It was the first record, meaning literal piece of wax, that I ruined. I took it away with me, on a family vacation, and it melted in the sun. Meaning I NEGLECTED IT. And now I'm in therapy and miserable.

Own this album or be sad. Simple.

SUPERBALL

Just sitting at home listening to the remaining winter rain drops fall and voila! I think of Helium, the band, not the element.
DIRT OF LUCK. Perhaps, could, might be my best 90's album, when refined to "covers dominated in blue." Hand in hand with Nevermind, of coarse.

I played the Kill Rock Stars SXSW showcase a few years ago, with Mary Timony and I was all shook up.
She really made something special here. Really.

Still an absolute classic banger till this day, some 17 years later.

Vibing on the later Lizzy stuff. I think I took the obvious for granted (late 70's), Realised there is a macrocosm of later stuff she did which fused with my biology. Nice algae, honey.

Fuck what they're calling this style of music. Seriously, I would rather name a new drug for a pharmaceutical company before I name a new musical genre. Well maybe I wouldn't, but why can't things simply be?
Why have to allude to things past and ruin the surprise of sound?
Anyways, I really like SALEM, I think they might be the most interesting band out there. When i first heard all this; music that makes you feel like your're slowly being crushed between a drum machine and distorto synth fuckery and crunk juice and darkness itself, I was all 'yeeeaaah'. See below to get the drift.
